Things are suddenly moving apace, builder phoned and he is putting extra labour in tomorrow and will do every door lintel in the 1 day. This is good news in as much as apart from the large crack in the lounge all the internal damage will be sorted and only decorating to finish off. Of course the downside being it is going to be pandemonium for a day and bloody messy with all the angle grinding of the brickwork. As a consequence I have to have a sicky to be able to move things, clean up, and make tea. Roll on tomorrow.
Incidentally the rear scaffolding has provided us with a nice temporary balcony. No doubt the loss of the roof top platform will soon take place.
Just thought I would add the current view from the kitchen window if for no other reason than as a souvenir.
I can picture you both with your knotted hankies and deckchairs, sitting on your scaffolding! Pims anyone?
